The Marinara is the original "tomato" or "sauce" pie. Known in Naples as the pizzaiolo's or pizza makers pie.  Marinara is the first pie made in order to test the temperature of the stone without using any more valuable toppings.  By topping it with fresh garlic, oregano, basil, and extra virgin olive oil the Marinara becomes a vibrant and aromatic pizza that shows whether a pizzeria's sauce is good enough to stand on its own.

~Fresh Basil Leaves~

~Imported Soppressata~

 ~Chili Infused Honey

Soppressata is an imported salami that adds a unique flavor profile due to the fat content and pepper corns in the meat.  The fat quickly renders and becomes crispy which is a perfect savory compliment to the sweet honey, then chili in the honey hits your taste buds for a hint of spicy heat at the end.  A customer favorite!

Toppings

~Fresh Mozzarella~

 ~Aged Pecorino Romano~

~Homemade Meatballs~

~Extra Virgin Olive Oil~

~Ricotta Stuffed Crust~

Italians fondly remember eating Sunday dinner at Nonna's (Grandma's).  We try to bring that feeling to you with every bite of this amazing pizza.  The meatballs are cooked in homemade "Sunday" sauce, which simmers for 4 hours.  The combination of cheeses perfectly compliment the flavors of the sauce and meat.  The stuffed crust invokes the tradition of "scarpetta" - dunking the bread in the sauce and cheese after the pasta is done (we suggest breaking off a piece of the crust and "dunking" it onto the sauce for full effect).

Nerano

The Base

Fried Zucchini Sauce

Toppings

~Fresh Mozzarella~

 ~Aged Parmigiano Reggiano~

~Caciocavallo Cheese~

~Extra Virgin Olive Oil~

Stanley Tucci popularized "spaghetti alla Nerano" in his series "Searching For Italy" when he visited Naples.  While we agree with him that this is one of the most delicious pasta dishes you can experience, we thought it would be equally tasty on a pizza.  We take that amazing sauce made with fried zucchini and combine it with fresh mozzarella and the sharpness of caciocavallo cheese.  We think Mr. Tucci would agree!
